Powerful atmosphere for large sporting events.
The Arena Lublin stadium in Poland can hold more than 15,000 sports fans. The exterior of the stadium, developed by the Spanish architectural firm Estudio Lamela Arquitectos, was wrapped in a blinds-like façade, the design kept simple and with curved lines. In addition to being home to the Motor Lublin football team, the stadium has also served as the venue for a four-nation tournament organised by UEFA.
The numerous bottom-hung windows in the luxury boxes and in the facilities inside the stadium are powered by a D+H all-star—the flexible KA Series. Some of these 32 installed chain drives provide a smart SHEV solution in coordination with controller systems and lock drives. In case of fire, the windows are opened automatically, and the toxic gases can escape. D+H is creating a system solution for public assembly and sports facilities with this approach, guaranteeing a safe environment and sports enjoyment for thousands of spectators.
